• Both lower limbs were spastic
• Power was 3/5 ( difficult to move against gravity) while lying on bed
• Reflexes were 4+ , both plantar had babinsky sign positive ( upward).
Mri cervical dorsal.spine suggestive of D3 broad based tumour which enhancing on contrast ,most likely Meningioma .
Operative :- patient under gone Simpson grade one excision of dorsal D3 meningioma under nerve monitoring.
Post surgery patient is on rehabilitation
But patient was able to walk with support on first post operative day .
Conclusion :- we can achieve good result in spine case if prompt and early decision taken .
Use of intraoperative nerve monitoring helps us to define a safe plane of dissection and avoids nerve damages .
